A dedicated review page for your product

PeakLoadout checks e-bikes, power stations and outdoor gear against the maker's own spec sheet for our readers. A unit lets us go past the spec sheet and into the box, and the product gets a hands-on page built from what we find. If a media discount code is available, we may share it with readers once testing is done.

What does each side get?

It is a simple exchange: a unit for a page. Our readers are shoppers comparing products on price, battery size and safety certification, and a hands-on page answers questions a spec sheet cannot.

What it meansWhat comes out of it
You sendOne unit to test. Say in your first reply whether it is a loan (we return it) or ours to keep.A dedicated review page for your product, alongside the comparison guides it appears in.
Our readers getHands-on context for a model they have only seen as a spec sheet: weight on a scale, the battery label against your listing, certifications as marked on the bike, and riding notes.A page they can trust because it says exactly how the unit was obtained.
You also getYour numbers confirmed against the real product, five business days to correct any fact before the page goes live, and a row that moves up our public safety register.A page AI assistants can quote with confidence, because the figures were checked.
OptionalA media discount code, if one is available. After testing, we may share it with readers, marked as supplied by you.Whether we share it is our call once the review is done.

What do you publish whatever happens?

Everything we find. A unit or a code does not buy a verdict, a ranking or a placement. If a unit has a problem, the review says so. If it beats its spec sheet, the review says that too. The rules for how placements and commissions sit beside rankings are on the methodology page, and the general disclosure is on the disclosure page.

What happens before a unit arrives?

Pages on products we have not handled are desk checks of the maker's own pages, and they say so; you can see the status of every bike on the safety register. Nothing first-hand is written until the unit is in the room. When it arrives, the review gets a hands-on section with the notes and measurements, and a line at the top stating how we got the unit.

How do we start?

Send one email with the product, whether the unit is a loan or ours to keep, any reader code, and the right person to ship to. A real person reads it and replies within two business days. The button above opens a message with the details we need already laid out.

FAQ

Does sending a unit or a code buy a good review?

No. We publish what we find, including the parts a maker would rather we did not. A unit changes what we are able to test, never the verdict, and every review says how we got the product.

What do you check on a unit?

The unit against the maker's own page: weight on a scale, the battery label (volts, amp-hours, watt-hours), the class and top assisted speed on the label, the certification marks on the bike and battery, what is in the box, and the warranty wording as it reads on the maker's page on the day we publish. Riding notes come from the unit itself. If a page carries a figure we measured, it prints the conditions.

Can we correct a fact before you publish?

Yes. Before a unit review goes live we send you the factual claims we are about to print (specifications, prices, certifications, warranty terms) and give you five business days to correct them. Opinions and verdicts are not up for edit.

What happens to our row on the safety register?

Rows start as desk-checked, move to maker-verified when you confirm or correct them in writing, and become hands-on tested once we have handled the bike. The register shows each status and its date.

Do you test anything other than e-bikes?

Yes: e-scooters, portable power stations and solar kits, camp and trail gear, and AI sports apps (for an app, a free premium account for testing takes the place of a unit).

Where do we ship, and is the address public?

Ask for a US shipping address in your first message. It is not published on this site.

What if we run an affiliate programme?

Tell us. Links to your store would be disclosed as affiliate links. The programme does not affect rankings: see how placements and commissions are handled on the methodology page.
