US list prices read on strava.com and runna.com on 20 October 2026. The bundle saves $49.99 a year over buying both annual plans, and Runna only unlocks once Strava is connected inside it.

At US list prices on 20 October 2026, paying for Strava and Runna month by month costs $383.76 a year; the Strava + Runna bundle covers both for $149.99, which is 61% less, and $49.99 less than buying the two annual plans separately.
US list prices, 20 October 2026, before tax:
Strava bought Runna in April 2025 (UKTN, 17 April 2025) and launched the combined plan on 2 July 2025 (Runna press page). Since then, structured running plans live in Runna; Strava's own paid tier is the social, mapping and analysis layer.
| Plan (US) | Monthly | Annual | Free trial | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strava (individual) | $11.99 | $79.99 | 30 days | Routes, live segments, goals, training log, Fitness & Freshness, Beacon |
| Strava Family | n/a | $139.99 | n/a | Annual only; not combinable with the bundle |
| Strava Student | n/a | $39.99 | 30 days | Annual only |
| Runna | $19.99 | $119.99 | 7 days on runna.com | Adaptive plans from 5K to ultra, watch sync |
| Strava + Runna | n/a | $149.99 | 30 days for new Strava users (iPhone first) | Both subscriptions, annual only, billed by Strava |
| Garmin Connect+ | $6.99 | $69.99 | 30 days at launch | Garmin's paid tier; core Garmin Connect stays free |
Two caveats from the price pages themselves. Strava's pricing page still carries an "Updated: July 1, 2025" stamp, so the $79.99 year has held for more than a year; the last US increase we can date is January 2023, from $59.99 to $79.99 (BikePerfect). And at least one large review site lists the bundle at $119.99 in the US; that is the UK price in pounds. Strava's own page says $149.99.
The annual plan is cheaper for anyone training with the app for more than seven months. Divide each annual price by its monthly price and you get the break-even point: six months for Runna and about six and two-thirds for Strava.
The exception is a single race block. A 12-week marathon plan on Runna's monthly price costs about $60 over three months, half the annual price. If the race is the goal and the app is not, monthly is the right call; cancel the week after the race.
You buy it once, inside Strava, and it covers both apps for a year. It is annual only, it cannot be combined with Strava's Family plan or other discounts, and new Strava users get a 30-day trial that is rolling out on iPhone first (the5krunner).
Runna is the coach. Its pricing page promises plans that adapt "to your performance" and custom plans for every race, synced to Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit and COROS. On 5 June 2026 Runna moved its beginner plans (New to Running, Return to Running, Path to parkrun) behind the subscription; runners already on one may finish it.
Strava is the log and the map. Strava's subscription feature list (dated 10 September 2026) covers route building, live segments, goals, the training log, the Fitness & Freshness chart and Beacon live location. Its AI layer, Athlete Intelligence, writes plain-language summaries of each workout; Strava announced it as a subscriber beta in October 2024 (Strava press). Strava also records e-bike rides as their own sport type, so a commute logs separately from training; if the commute is the reason you are shopping, our commuter e-bikes under $1,500 guide prices the bikes.
The alternatives. Garmin Connect+ ($6.99 a month, $69.99 a year since March 2025) is the paid tier for Garmin watch owners, and core Garmin Connect stays free. COROS charges nothing for its EvoLab training metrics. For cycling, the same adaptive-plan idea is compared in our AI cycling training apps guide.

[ ] Prices exclude sales taxStrava raised money at a $2.2 billion valuation in May 2025 in a round led by Sequoia (Crunchbase News), confirmed a confidential IPO filing in February 2026, and had not published a public S-1 as of late July 2026. Companies preparing to list often tidy their pricing; we found no US list-price change for Strava or Runna in 2025 or 2026. We re-read both pricing pages monthly while the IPO is pending.
All US prices were read on strava.com/pricing, strava.com/subscribe and runna.com/pricing on 20 October 2026 and exclude tax. Annual-versus-monthly break-even is annual price divided by monthly price. Bundle savings compare $149.99 with the sum of the two annual prices ($199.98) and with twelve months of both monthly prices ($383.76). Garmin Connect+ pricing is from launch coverage and an April 2026 review, not from a garmin.com checkout.
For training-app makers: if a price or feature here has changed, tell us on our contact page and we will re-read your page and update the row with the date.
Strava costs $79.99 a year or $11.99 a month in the US, before tax, with a 30-day free trial. The Family plan is $139.99 a year and the Student plan $39.99 a year, both annual only (strava.com, read 20 October 2026).
Runna costs $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year in the US, with a 7-day free trial on runna.com. It is still sold on its own, without a Strava subscription.
Yes, if you would pay for both. The bundle is $149.99 a year, $49.99 less than buying Strava ($79.99) and Runna ($119.99) annual plans separately, and $233.77 less than paying both monthly for a year. If you only want Runna, its $119.99 annual plan is cheaper.
The bundle is bought and billed in Strava, and Runna only recognises it once you connect your Strava account inside the Runna app. Until that link is made, Runna shows you as a free user.
Structured running plans now come from Runna, which Strava bought in April 2025. Strava's paid tier covers routes, segments, goals, the training log, Fitness & Freshness and Beacon, plus AI workout summaries from Athlete Intelligence.
If you want a running coach and already pay for Strava, buy the $149.99 bundle and connect Strava inside Runna. If you only want the coach, Runna's $119.99 year is cheaper. For a single race block under six months, pay Runna monthly and cancel after race day.
